Maui’s newest resort Andaz Maui at Wailea opened to the public
on September 1, 2013. Located on the former Renaissance Wailea property the Andaz is Hyatt’s 10th property under the Andaz brand and the first beachfront resort property for Andaz. The Andaz brand is a fresh young hip atmosphere, the first of it’s kind
on Maui.
You are greeted with friendly valet’s and resort hosts that check you in on an iPad as you sit for a welcome drink in the open ocean view lobby after arrival.
The resort has four pools, three of them cascading infinity pools.
The Andaz is more of an experience than it is a hotel with a young vibrant atmosphere. The resort is on one of Maui’s best beaches – Mokapu Beach.
There are two open air bars which serve meals from the kitchen. The staff and service are outstanding, friendly, warm and casual, not stuffy. Ka’ana Kitchen is the main restaurant on the property which will be supplemented for lunch and dinner with Morimoto’s which is scheduled to open in October.
