Maui’s real estate market continues to remain strong
with median prices for residential properties up 11% and condos up 9% compared to 2016 according to real estate statistics released by the Realtors Association of Maui. Most residential sales occurred in Central and South Maui with most condo sales occurring
in South Maui.329 homes have sold year-to-date, which is down 4% from 2016. Condo volume is up 10% from 2016 with 458 condos sold. The most action in condo sales occurred in South Maui in Kihei, Wailea/Makena and Maalaea.
As of today there are 810 active and pending residential listings with an average of 82 homes sold per month – 9 months of inventory. For condos there is just 8 months of inventory. It’s a sellers market. If you are interested in selling your Maui home
